Eric joined the Break Free team in early November and is currently taking on new physiotherapy clients! Eric has 15 years of experience treating orthopedic conditions. He will have availability on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, including some evening hours.

Jessica is working part-time and has availability on Wednesday afternoons, Thursday mornings and some Saturday mornings/afternoons). Please determine whether this aligns with your schedule prior to booking. She is taking on new clients for both pelvic physiotherapy and orthopedic physiotherapy until December 21, 2024.

TMJ issues: If you are looking to book an assessment for TMJ, please book online with Eric OR contact the clinic (519-850-3733 or admin@breakfreephysiotherapy.ca) to book an assessment with Corey.

Dry needling: Corey, Tarra and Jessica are all certified in Dry Needling (IMS) treatment. If you are looking to try dry needling, please book an assessment with one of them.

Follow-ups: Please book one or two 30min follow-ups a week apart after booking an initial assessment. This will ensure that you are able to get appointments in time slots that work for you and so we can provide treatment within a reasonable time frame.

Masks: Masks are optional within the clinic. Your clinician will wear a mask if it is preferable to you. Please inform them at your appointment.

Additionally, we treat pregnant and post-partum individuals with these issues as well as post-partum women wanting to return to exercise.


TMJ Physiotherapy

TMJ Physiotherapy involves the assessment and treatment of the temporomandibular joint (of the jaw). We seek to find the source of the TMJ pain and provide education and exercises to help manage the condition and reduce pain. We also may utilize acupuncture to help with your TMJ dysfunction!

Tarra is a Physiotherapist at Break Free. She completed her undergraduate degree in Hamilton at McMaster University obtaining an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then returned to her hometown of London to complete a Master of Physical Therapy at Western University.

Her approach to physiotherapy care is simple, it revolves entirely around you. She wants to work with you to identify your goals and determine how physiotherapy can help you achieve them. Using a focus on education, self-management, and exercise-based rehabilitation, she aims to empower clients to reach their goals. Her passion for helping others started her on this journey and keeps her motivated to expand her clinical skills and continue to grow her knowledge of the physiotherapy profession!

Eric is a physiotherapist passionate about empowering others through movement and education. Originally from Toronto, he completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario, building a strong foundation to support his clients’ recovery journeys.

He has experience in orthopaedic private practice, sports rehabilitation, and acute injury management. HIs dedication to lifelong learning has led him to pursue advanced certifications, including: Acupuncture, orthopaedic level courses and the McKenzie Method (MDT). He specializes in educating clients on the causes and rehab management of injuries and he is committed to understanding the physical, social, and psychological factors that affect his clients’ health.

He believes in the power of human connection and empathic communication as key components of rehabilitation. He works closely with each individual to develop tailored strategies that address their unique needs, helping them regain confidence and overcome their fears associated with injury.

Outside of the clinic, Eric is an advocate for community engagement. He has organized sports events to support children’s development and volunteered abroad, promoting physical activity among youth in Peru.

Corey is a co-owner of Break Free Physiotherapy and Wellness.

Corey was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in London, Ontario. He completed both his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and the Master of Physical Therapy program at Western University. Corey has been fortunate to travel the world as a physiotherapist consultant in Nepal teaching at Kathmandu University’s Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.

Corey’s passion is helping people find pain relief through movement and self-empowering his clients teaching them about the human body and its ability to heal. He uses a holistic approach focusing on the biopsychosocial model, seeing all factors that affect health. Corey understands that injuries can make people anxious and fearful to move and wants to provide hope and the appropriate help. He believes that human connection is key in rehabilitation with a strong focus on empathic communication.

Corey has experience with patients across the lifespan of different musculoskeletal disorders and has special interest in concussion, vestibular rehabilitation and chronic pain. Corey utilizes the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy as a method of diagnosis and treatment. He is also skilled in acupuncture, manual therapy, exercise prescription and education.

Jessica is a co-owner of Break Free Physiotherapy and Wellness.

She was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. She completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph and a research-based Master of Science degree in Kinesiology, with a focus on neuroscience at the University of Waterloo. She later moved to London where she completed her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University.

Jessica has experience treating individuals across the lifespan with various musculoskeletal issues as well as concussion. She has a special interest in pelvic health and is excited to help those with pelvic pain and incontinence. Jessica has continued her education through completion of courses in acupuncture, pelvic health and concussion management. She enjoys helping people become more active and believes that movement is an integral part to rehabilitation. Jessica understands that each patient is unique and experiences pain in different ways. She designs her treatment plans based on her client’s individual needs.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, doing yoga, cycling and hiking. She hopes to do some more travelling someday!
